Athletes Yoga:

For the hockey player, specialized off-ice training system to enhance overall athletic development.This program captures the essence of the American Development Model’s off-ice directives. Complimentary conditioning, flexibility training, unilateral and bilateral balance, and self-esteem building, are combined with sport specific conditioning that balances out the body to work at optimal levels.

For the soccer, baseball, football or basketball player, specialized sport specific training and mental conditioning to enhance overall athletic development. I take the practice way beyond the normal yoga pose and into a sport specific conditioning routine.

Peak Performance Conditioning (PPC) is beyond the scope of one discipline; it is a combination of non-traditional yoga, breath exercises, motivational positive imagery (sport specific and performance related) and targeted, intense physical conditioning. This fun and exciting program was developed over 15 months of working with high school prep and varsity hockey teams and football teams.

Classes are tailored to meet the needs of the sport, team,and schedule; including recovery and regeneration activities.

Endurance is improved; injuries occur less frequently and are less severe in nature. Recovery is dramatically increased. Awareness of feedback from the body assists the athletes with judging strain and avoiding injuries.

Mental toughness, learning how to focus on the task at hand and developing good awareness of their specific job on the team are supported and nurtured. Players enter a game with a solid foundation of self-esteem and the ability to focus on their job.Strategies provide tools to assist the athletes with improving stress management; their self-confidence and inter-team dynamics.
