Electrolyte drinks, "yogaaid" to keep you hydrated and feeling great!

Electrolyte drinks that are commercially available are full of the things that I don't want to consume. High fructose corn syrup, artificial colorings and dyes and scary amounts of sugar per serving. I make a homemade "yogaaid" to help me rehydrate after classes.Low Carb Rehydration Drink that is all natural and delicious - Juice of 1/2 lemon and 1/2 lime (adjust to your taste)
- 2 packets stevia,natural sugar substitute
- 1 Tbsp agave nectar
- ¼ tsp fine sea salt
- ¼ tsp salt substitute (”No Salt” or Morton’s potassium chloride-based substitute)
- 1/8 tsp baking soda
- 1 quart (32 oz) purified water
Measure all ingredients except for water, put in a quart size drink container. Add a cup of water and stir to mix. Fill the container the rest of the way with water, cap and shake to mix. Tastes best cold or on ice.
Low Carb Iced Tea based Re-hydration Drink - 1 quart of caffeine free tea brewed and cooled, mint or lemon zinger works well
